Ask Yourself Etsy, DIY, or Infinity?
It’s been awhile since I blogged. I’ve been bogged down and heavily medicated for some major neck pain, but not to worry it’s just muscular and I’m on the mend. I am happy to be back and excited to show you what I’ve been busy working on.
When I got married I was always looking for creative idea’s and inspiration. Whether it was a request for our bridal party to say “yes”, bridal party gifts, save the dates, parental gifts, parental thank you’s, invitations, stationary, signs, stickers, lip chap, sunglasses, bags, hangers, fans, menu’s, a program, head bands, foot jewellery, earrings, necklaces, purses, mints, thank you’s, back drops, candy bar labels, glasses a garter, hair pieces, etc… I found myself always ending up at Etsy, some other similar site,… or DIY. Can you relate?
It was easy to find what I was looking for on Etsy and/or I could place special orders, but the catch was it was too expensive. DIY was an option, but then would require time to find, buy and make the product for less which was nearly impossible. In most cases, the shipping alone threw each item outside my budget. It can regularly take 2-3 weeks for Etsy to ship and still have the potential to be held up in customs for 2-3 months. This was time I didn’t have. The other downside, some items were listed in U.S dollars. I wasted so much time finding the perfect item, only to find out it was only available in the United States….sigh.
The entire year before our wedding was a complete whirlwind; engagement, university, buying a house, moving, graduating, new career, vacationing, etc… I simply ran out of time and needed all the help I could get!
Why Infinity Design Company?
All of this, led me to start Infinity Design Company and has inspired my upcoming products and services. The best part is, now that my wedding has past, I highly enjoy crafting these unique items. While I won’t offer everything that Etsy and other similar sites do. I offer a personable experience, if you want one, and good quality products and services at a more affordable cost. While shipping remains an option available to you. You may choose to save by picking up your items, and on the rare occasion I’m able to meet you for delivery, depending on when I am in certain area’s.
I look forward to being a resource (the Etsy) in your area. Hopefully freeing up your time and money.
